Défouloir au quotidien...

I participated to the Kumite competition in Rebecq on Saturday, 19th. I didn't won in my category (+21Year, no weight distinction) but I learnt many things on arbitration and energy management during the 3mins. of a combat.

I also started to build another garage kit I just acquired from Emilie Sauriol's stock last week: a Musasiya NABIKI model at 1/6 scale. It's the one with Nabiki's eating potato chips in casual wear. Musasiya really are Rolls-Royce of resin garage kits. I sawed so little to have a neat aspect of the shapes. I will now primer it with Mr Surfacer 1000 and I'll paint her on Friday evenings during AMC weekly meetings. More pictures soon...

Hauro No Ugoku Shiro

Thanks to the yearly Anima festival in Liege and Brussels, we have previews in original version for some new anime released in cinema. Oshii Tezuka and Miyazaki are displayed since three years now, as we saw "Metropolis", "Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi"

Yesterday I saw "Howl's moving castle. As usual Miyazaki releases a wonderful movie, with his recognizable touch, based on a novel of Diana Wynne Jones. I enjoyed the movie even if it has some "Laputa" rememberings. Good soundtracks and themes by Joe Hisashi (my favourite anime musician with Kenji Kawai).

Still at a model kits exhibition this weekend but this time it happened in Ransart. As usual, pictures gallery is available with most of the models.
First pictures again show the good mood of participants on the AMC stand. Our twinned club of Thionville (F) didn't had the chance of having a stand for their models but they even came to make a little party with us!
Sorry for armoured vehicles fans but I had to make a selection of what to cach in my little blackbox. Therefore most of the models were also present at former exhibition in Willebroek two weeks ago (See previous post). Complain to me on our super forum ;)

Just to remeber to the Hutois and people in the area of Liège-Namur, AEL and LiLIT have a stand at the monthy MiHuy (Marché de l'Informatisue de Huy) which stands every first Sunday morning of the month in Don Bosco Huy's sports hall. If you want to meet LUG people of your area to ask question on GNU/Linux or Free Software just feel free to come and see us.
